HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY Casts Annie Cresta

HUNGER GAMES: Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2' now has its Annie Cresta. According to Zaptoit.com, Lionsgate has announced that Stef Dawson has been tapped to portray Finnick Odair's love.

In the novel on which the film series is based, the character is arrested by the Capitol for participating in the rebellion and is held captive. After witnessing the beheading of her district partner during a competition, she loses her mind.

Prior to Dawson's casting, it was announced the 'Game of Thrones' actress Natalie Dormer had been cast as Cressida, a film director that joins the rebellion. The next film in the franchise, 'Catching Fire' is scheduled to be released on November 22nd. Production on 'Mockingjay Part 1' is set to begin in September with a planned release date of November 21, 2014.

Dawson is a relative newcomer to the acting community, with much of her filmography consisting of short films.
