HANDS ON A HARDBODY Documentary Re-released on DVD

The re-release of the digitally re-mastered DVD and VOD of cult classic Hands on a Hardbody: THE DOCUMENTARY is currently available at handsonahardbodythemovie.com (DVD and streaming).
The 1997 documentary directed by S.R. Bindler captures several days of lunacy, laughter, struggle, stamina and heartbreak experienced throughout an endurance competition between twenty-four small-town Texans for a brand new "Hardbody" pickup truck. The 1995 competition lasted for seventy-seven continuous hours and offers a remarkable study of competition, camaraderie, faith and determination -- the ultimate human drama.
The film, previously unavailable for over ten years, has been digitally restored and re-mastered from the original Hi8 tapes. Additionally a Broadway musical adaptation of Hands on a Hardbody is currently in previews at New York's Brooks Atkinson Theater, officially opening this week, on Thursday, March 21, 2013 (www.handsonahardbody.com).
The film will also embark on a multi-city screening tour starting on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at IFC Center (323 Avenue of the Americas NYC). Complete screening tour schedule (with additional cities and theaters) listed below:
