Greyhound Joins Nitro Circus in Recreating Iconic Evel Knievel Jump during HISTORY's 3-Hour Event, EVEL LIVE

Nitro Circus and Greyhound announced today that motorsports star Travis Pastrana will attempt to jump over 16 Greyhound buses during "Evel Live," an unprecedented three-hour television event premiering Sunday, July 8 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on HISTORY. "Evel Live" will see Pastrana pay tribute to Evel Knievel as he recreates three of Knievel's most celebrated feats, including his iconic 1975 bus jump, all live from Las Vegas.

Greyhound will once again be a part of creating record-breaking history by providing 16 buses for this milestone attempt, as Pastrana looks to challenge the 14 Greyhound bus jump Knievel executed over 40 years ago. Pastrana will aim to recreate two other famous Knievel stunts during "Evel Live," including jumping the length of 52+ cars as well as jumping the legendary Caesars Palace fountain. If successful, Pastrana will be the first individual to complete all three jumps consecutively in one three-hour timespan.
