Music legend Yoko Ono has teamed up with her son, Sean Lennon, as well as a host of celebrities in a new anti-fracking PSA aimed at disallowing legislation of the controversial, purportedly environmentally unsound practice in New York state.

Comprising the talents of Susan Sarandon, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Adrian Grenier, Carrie Fisher, Liv Tyler and many more actors and activists, as well as members of bands like Wilco and The Black Keys, the new music video sets out to dissuade voters from supporting fracking in their home state, particularly New York, where it is a particularly hot issue.

"Don't frack my mother / Because I ain't got no other," sing the slew of familiar faces along to the chorus of the catchy, bluegrass-tinged tune.

"Don't frack me!" Ono repeats in her characteristically recognizable cadence in the repeating chorus, while the verses highlight the evils of fracking.

Interspersed with the jovial, largely self-filmed video footage are fact cards with information on the harmful drilling method, with information such as: "the fracking process injects hundreds of toxic chemicals into the Earth at high pressure to free natural gas and oil."

This is a very serious issue and these celebrities and activists are clearly not fracking around!
