DUCHESS has a script by Posin and Nicholas Kazan.

The "dark road-trip comedy" is based on the true story of Anna and follows her final days, during which she was kidnapped by her husband Jack Manahan from her court-ordered stay in a retirement home. In the movie, the couple run from the authorities across Virginia and rekindle their romance.

The six-time Oscar nominee's other upcoming projects include Low Down, Guardians of the Galaxy, Anesthesia and 5 to 7. She has appeared on the big screen in Albert Nobbs, Heights, Nine Lives, The Stepford Wives, the TV movie version of South Pacific, 101 and 102 Dalmatians, Tarzan, In & Out, Air Force One and many more films. Her TV credits include Damages, The Simpsons and The Shield.

A three-time Tony Award-winner, Close has appeared on Broadway in A Little Night Music, The Play What I Wrote, Sunset Boulevard, Death and the Maiden, Benefactors, The Real Thing, Barnum, The Crucifer of Blood, Rex, The Member of the Wedding, The Rules of the Game and Love for Love.
