Gabourey Sidibe to Become THE BIG C Series Regular

As first reported on TVLine.com, actress Gabourey Sidibe will become a series regular when the Showtime drama THE BIG C returns for its third season on April 8th. 

The actress has appeared as a guest star on multiple episodes of the series last season in the role of Andrea Jackson. Sidibe portrayed a close friend and confidente to Laura Linney's Cathy. 

Sidibe received an Oscar nomination for her role in the film 'Precious'. She was most recently seen on the big screen in 'Tower Heist' co-starring Eddie Murphy and Ben Stiller. She will next appear in 'Seven Psychopaths' opposite Woody Harrelson and Colin Farrell.
