ABC News' GOOD MORNING AMERICA scored an across-the-board victory in Total Viewers (5.141 million), Adults 25-54 (1.897 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.397 million) to rank as the No. 1 morning newscast for the week of August 19, 2013, according to Nielsen Media Research. Additionally, GoodMorningAmerica.com on Yahoo! reached 22 million users last month. It is the No. 1 morning news website and beats Today.com by millions of users each month.

During the week, "GMA" outdrew NBC's "Today" (4.415 million, 1.765 million and 1.383 million, respectively) by +726,000 Total Viewers, by +132,000 Adults 25-54 and by +14,000 Adults 18-49. In fact, in Total Viewers "GMA" increased its lead over the No. 2-ranked "Today Show" by +40% compared to its year-ago week lead (+520,000 on w/o 8/20/12).

"GMA" has ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers in all 47 weeks of the season. In fact, "GMA" has ranked No. 1 every week in Total Viewers for more than 1 year (the last 53 weeks - since w/o 8/13/12). "GMA's" 53 consecutive weeks at the top stand as its longest stretch at No. 1 in more than 21 years - since before the 1991-92 season.

Season to date, "GMA" has turned in its highest number of No. 1 finishes during a television season in both Total Viewers (47 of 47 weeks) and Adults 25-54 (39 of 47 weeks) in more than 21 years- since before the 1991-92; Nielsen's electronic database started on September of 1991. In addition, "GMA" has ranked No. 1 in Adults 18-49 in 18 weeks of the season, its highest number in 20 years - since the 1992-93 season.

"GMA" built on its year-ago week numbers in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+6%), Adults 25-54 (+7%) and Adults 18-49 (+7%) - 4.837 million, 1.778 million and 1.306 million, respectively, for w/o 8/20/12. "GMA" has seen its overall audience grow from the same week last year in all 47 weeks this season.

Season to date, "GMA" is the No. 1 morning news program in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54. The ABC show is leading "Today" by its largest season margin in overall viewers (+668,000) in more than 21 years and in the adult news demo (+86,000) in 21 years - since before the 1991-92 season and the 1991-92 season, respectively; Nielsen's electronic database started on September of 1991.

Season to date, "GMA" is up in both Total Viewers (+9%) and Adults 25-54 (+4%) versus its year-ago averages, growing the most in the key adult news demo (NBC's "Today" is down -11%/-17%, respectively; CBS' "This Morning" is up +13%/+2%, respectively). "GMA" is seeing its largest overall season audience in more than 21 years and best Adult 25-54 performance in 5 years - since before the 1991-92 season and 2007-08 seasons, respectively.

For the 2nd week in a row, "GMA" nearly doubled the performance of "CBS This Morning" in Total Viewers (+95%), while more than doubling it in Adults 25-54 (+109%) and Adults 18-49 (+110%).
