GONE GIRL's Kim Dickens Joins AMC's WALKING DEAD Spin-Off Series
Deadline writes that GONE GIRL's Kim Dickens has signed on to play the female lead opposite Cliff Curtis in AMC's THE WALKING DEAD spinoff series.

Co-written by series creator Robert Kirkman with executive producer David Erickson (Sons of Anarchy), the spinoff takes place during the same zombie apocalypse in a different setting and follows "a divorced teacher (Curtis) and a guidance counselor (Dickens), who are working together and are in a relationship. The guidance counselor has two children from a previous marriage, played by Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey. She looks like the girl next door but has a darkness to her, a troubled past that will come back to haunt her."
The spinoff is set to premiere sometime next year.
Aside from her supporting role in David Fincher's Gone Girl, Dickens has appeared on the small screen in Sons of Anarchy, Treme, White Collar, Friday Night Lights, Lost, Deadwood, Big Apple and more.
