Grant Gustin, best known for his role as Sebastian Smythe on "Glee", is a possible contender to play superhero The Flash on The CW series "Arrow".

The Flash, who has the power of super-speed, is set for a three episode arc on the upcoming second season of "Arrow". In addition, The Flash, whose real name is Barry Allen, could land his own spinoff show.

23-year-old Gustin is one of three actors vying to play The Flash. According to Digital Spy, Matt Barr of "One Tree Hill" fame and Australian actor James Mackay are also up for the part.

Along with starring on "Glee" since 2011, Gustin has also appeared on "90210" and "CSI: Miami".

"Arrow" will return to The CW for its second seaon on October 9.
