Entertainment Weekly spoke to GLEE creator Ryan Murphy just minutes before his show took home the Golden Globe for Best Television Series- Comedy or Musical last night. Murphy shared a few spoilers for the second half of season one, which is set to begin airing on April 13th on Fox.

Murphy told EW that fan favorites Rachel (Golden Globe-Nominee Lea Michele) and Puck (Mark Salling) will re-ignite their brief romance for another episode in the back nine. Murphy shared that they "just finished [writing] a special episode where they are together, and they have two numbers together. It's episode 4, ‘Bad Reputation.'"

Murphy dished on the highly anticipated Madonna episode that was announced earlier in the season. He says the episode will feature ten musical numbers and that "the production value is very big." Murphy wouldn't say which Madonna song Golden Globe-Nominee Jane Lynch would be singing, but Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that she will be singing "Vogue" in the episode.

GLEE's creator also talked about casting for new characters set to join the show in season two, including a boyfriend for Chris Colfer's character Kurt Hummel. Murphy is excited at the prospect of Kurt's new romantic venture, stating that "we're going to make them a power couple. We're not going to do the whole hiding in The Shadows thing. We're going to make them popular, and out and proud and glamorous. Like prom king and king. We're doing the opposite of what's been done." He also announced that they will be "casting sort of an Eve Harrington [from All About Eve] to kind of steal Rachel's thunder a little."

According to EW, GLEE will also be welcoming more guest stars later this season, including Olivia Newton-John. Ryan Murphy shared with EW that "she's going to come on and do ‘Physical' with Jane Lynch." Murphy also talked about possibly welcoming Jennifer Lopez in a future guest spot, sharing that she has expressed interest in appearing on the show.

Recent winner of the People's Choice Award for Best New Comedy, GLEE, the new musical comedy series, follows an optimistic teacher who - against all odds and a malicious cheerleading coach - attempts to save McKinley High's Glee Club from obscurity while helping a group of aspiring underdogs realize their true star potential.

The show, which also garnered Golden Globe recognition, stars Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Jessalyn Gilsig, Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, Amber Riley, Mark Salling and Jenna Ushkowitz. BroadwayWorld brings you their new cast photos released by FOX below!

The series will return to FOX on April 13 at 9pm on Tuesdays. Due to the success of the first installment of the show, which aired last on December 9, FOX has already ordered a second season of the show and announced that it will soon be launching a nationwide search to cast three new roles, which will be documented on the network in the multi-part special. These newest additions will make their debut on the second season premiere.

GLEE is produced by Ryan Murphy Television in association with 20th Century FoxTelevision. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan are co-creators of the series. Murphy, Falchuk and Dante di Loreto serve as executive producers, while Ian Brennan serves as co-executive producer.
