Four Acts to Return as Wild Cards on NBC's AMERICA'S GOT TALENT

The competition on NBC's "America's Got Talent" heats up next week as another four acts move on to the semifinals, and four lucky eliminated top-60 acts are named the judges' wild card choice and given a second chance to win the $1 million prize.

Comedian and "AGT" finalist Tom Cotter returns to the stage to perform on the Wednesday, Aug. 21 live results show (9-10 p.m. ET/PT). Cotter was named runner-up in last season's finale.

Cotter currently performs in some of the best comedy clubs across the country and recently headlined "America's Got Talent Live" at the Palazzo Las Vegas. Before becoming the first comedian to ever reach the finals of "America's Got Talent," Cotter won the Seattle International Comedy Competition, the grand prize at the Boston Comedy Festival and was voted best stand-up at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival.

He has become a familiar face on shows such as "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Last Comic Standing" and "Today." He starred in his own special, "Comedy Central Presents... Tom Cotter" and in the WE TV series "Two Funny."

"America's Got Talent" wraps up the quarter-final rounds on Tuesday, Aug. 20 (9-11 p.m.) where the last of the top 60 acts perform for America's vote. Four of those acts will move on to the semifinals to compete against American Military Spouses Choir, Anna Christine, Angela Hoover, Branden James, Cami Bradley, Chicago Boyz Acrobatic Team, Collins Key, Forte, Innovative Force, Jimmy Rose, Jonathan Allen, Kenichi Ebina, KriStef Brothers, Marty Brown, Taylor Williamson and Timber Brown.
