PBS has a great documentary coming up this week - the private world of Stephen Hawking, which will have its broadcast premier January 29, 2014, 10:00-11:00 p.m. ET. The film is remarkable, with excellent access into the famous physicist's private world. Filmed inside his Cambridge home, narrated by HAWKING himself, the documentary also features interviews with his first wife Jane and his sister Mary. The film shows photos from his entire life, beginning with his childhood before he became disabled. We get photos and filmed access to his wives, children, university office, students and co-workers. He recounts how his career developed and the various discoveries he made. We see him inside a zero gravity flight as he floats through the air, and inside a stadium as acrobats swirl through the air past him. This show is riveting and certainly worth saving to your DVD.
