FOX Promises 'Special Announcement' Coming from FAMILY GUY'S Brian

The FOX network has set up a countdown clock, promising a 'special announement' is on the way from the Griffin's late family pet Brian and advices viewers to 'spread the word'. Check it out here!
On last Sunday's episode, viewers were shocked to watch beloved dog Brian get killed in a car accident. Since that time, a fast-growing petition trend has quickly caught fire on Change.org, as at least half a dozen Family Guy fans have launched petitions demanding that Brian, created and voiced by Seth MacFarlane, be brought back back to life.
In an exclusive interview with E! News Family Guy's executive producer Steve Callaghan spoke about the decision to kill off the character. "Well, this was an idea that got pitched in the writers room and it sort of caught fire, and we thought it could be a fun way to shake things up. As soon as this idea came up, we started talking about what the next couple episodes could be and we got very excited about the way this change will affect the family dynamics and the characters."
