FOX Announces Premiere Date for Season 2 of Smash Hit EMPIRE

The writers of FOX's new smash hit hip-hop drama series EMPIRE have turned to Twitter to reveal the premiere date for the show's sophomore season:

"#Empire fans! @EmpireFOX Season 2 returns Wednesday, September 23, 2015! #MarkYourCalendars #GameTimeBitches"

As previously announced, the show will continue in its 9pm time slot.
