FIRST LOOK - Johnny Depp Stars as Debonair Art Dealer MORTECAI

Based on the popular three-novel anthology by Kyril Bonfiglioli, David Koepp's Mortdecai also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Ewan McGregor, Paul Bettany and Olivia Munn. Guy Burnet, Michael Byrne, Michael Culkin, Jonny Pasvolsky, Ulrich Thomsen, and Paul Whitehouse.

In the film, Depp portrays art dealer Charlie Mortecai who "hunts for a stolen painting that is said to hold a secret code that can lead to a Nazi gold stash. He must traverse the globe armed only with his good looks and special charm in a race to recover a stolen painting rumored to contain the code to a lost bank account filled with Nazi gold."

Eric Aronson penned the script for the project being produced by Depp, Andrew Lazar, Christi Dembrowski and Gigi Pritzker.
