CBS News' FACE THE NATION WITH Bob Schieffer was first in adults 25-54 on Sunday, Jan. 6 (tied with NBC). FACE THE NATION posted a 2.4/06 in households, 3.32m viewers and 0.8/03 in adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings.

Compared to the same day last year, FACE THE NATION is up +20% in both households (from 2.0/05) and viewers (from 2.76m) and even in adults 25-54.

Season-to-date, FACE THE NATION is first in viewers (3.28m), households (2.4/06, tied with NBC) and adults 25-54 (0.8/03, tied with NBC) among the Sunday morning public affairs shows. Season-to-date, FACE THE NATION is up +14% in both households (from 2.1/05) and viewers (from 2.88m) and even in adults 25-54 compared to last year.

On the broadcast, Bob Schieffer interviewed House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ), Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT), Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA), Rep. Matt Salmon (R-AZ) and Rep. Rick Nolan (D-MN). Schieffer also hosted a political roundtable with David Sanger of the New York Times and Rana Foroohar of Time magazine.
