Emily Blunt, John Krasinski Welcome Second Daughter, Violet

John Krasinski turned to Twitter today to announce the news that he and wife Emily Blunt welcomed the arrival of their second child, Violet two weeks ago. The couple, who wed in 2010, are parents to 23-month-old daughter Hazel.

Blunt took on the role of the Baker's Wife in 2014's film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's musical Into the Woods, directed by Rob Marshall.

Her recent film projects include Your Voice in My Head and All You Need Is Kill. Other film credits include ARTHUR Newman, Looper, The Five-Year Engagement, The Muppets, Your Sister's Sister, Salmon Fishing in Yemen, The Adjustment Bureau, Gulliver's Travels, The Wolfman, The Young Victoria, Sunshine Cleaning, Charlie Wilson's War, Dan in Real Life, The Jane Austen Book Club and The Devil Wears Prada, in which she appeared opposite her Into the Woods co-star, Meryl Streep.
