According to USA Today, Boston's Emerson College will change the name of its school of communication to the Ron Burgundy School of Communication. Well for one day anyway. The name change will be in effect on Dec. 4 to honor the fictitious television anchorman of movie fame.

Actor Will Ferrell, in character, is scheduled talk to students about his path to his successful career in journalism. His visit will feature a news conference, the renaming ceremony and a screening of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.

College President Lee Pelton says Burgundy "understands the power of media, as well as hairspray, firsthand." In response, Burgundy replied that he hopes students can appreciate how hard it is to be successful in the field, "especially if you don't have good hair."

Will Ferrel will return as San Diego's top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy in Paramount's upcoming sequal ANCHORMAN 2: THE LEGEND CONTINUES. Joining him will be his wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weather man Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner).

The film hits theaters on December 20.
