Donelle Dadigan Named Vice Chair of CA Film Commission

Donelle Dadigan, a native Californian, has just been appointed Vice Chair of the California Film Commission and has has voted into her second term as Chairperson for The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce/Walk of Fame. She is one of the most influential women in Hollywood, she already boasts an impressive resume of titles including, Chairperson for The Hollywood Trust, as well as President and Co-Founder of the Jose' Iturbi Foundation and the Founder and President of The Hollywood Museum.

The California Film Commission is your one-stop resource for film, TV, and commercial production across the Golden State. California is home to the entertainment industry ... and for good reason. The Jose' Iturbi Foundation (a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) organization) was created in 1985 by Marion Seabury and Donelle Dadigan, in memory of concert great, Jose' Iturbi. Donelle Dadigan is the god-daughter of Jose' Iturbi and Marion Seabury. She began her piano studies when she was almost 5 years old and has won numerous music competitions and performed internationally. A graduate of UCLA, studied at the Paris Music Conservatory and the Ecole Internationale de Nice. Donelle credits Jose' Iturbi for teaching her the important lessons in life, including the importance of helping shape the lives of others, and "giving back to the community." The Jose' Iturbi Foundation is dedicated to continuing the legacy of Jose' Iturbi, to fulfill Jose's wish to make classical music accessible and enjoyable to people of all ages and corners of the world, and to fulfill his desire of bringing to the public's attention today's greatest emerging talents and prize-winning musicians through dynamic live concert performances and international competition. The Foundation's goal is to provide a forum for young classical pianists and singers to debut their talent and for the Foundation to launch their career. The Jose' Iturbi International Music Competition does precisely this!
