At a recent new conference, Keifer Sutherland revealed to reporters that his father, actor Donald Sutherland, has a great interest in guest starring on his new Fox drama series TOUCH.  "We're working on episodes five and six right now, but I certainly have conveyed to (series creator) Tim Kring... that my father is someone who I would very, very much like to work with." shared Kiefer. "My father knows of this piece and I certainly have talked to him about it."

TOUCH centers on Kiefer's character, Martin Bohm, a father who realizes that his mute son has an ability to predict events that will happen in the future.

While the younger Sutherland shared his enthusiasm about the idea of working with his father, he stressed that no definitive plans are in place. "We certainly do not have a script or a story or anything like that," he explained. "But it certainly is open."

At the conference, Kiefer also praised series writer Kring, commenting, "I think one of the things that's so attractive about this piece is Tim Kring's writing and character development. They give people an opportunity to show some stuff that they might not normally get [to do] and I would be honored to be able to do something like this with my dad."

Father and son have appeared in the past in two films including 'Max Dugan Returns' and 'A Time to Kill'.

TOUCH premieres tonight on the Fox network with a special preview episode before returning on March 19th to its regular Monday night time slot.
