Disney XD Delivers Near Record Ratings Across Targeted Demographics in 2015
For 2015, Disney XD delivered near record ratings in Primetime across its targeted demographics -- Boys 6-11 (113,000) and Boys 2-11 (136,000) -- powered by solid ratings for its original programming, most notably its Top 3 series "Gravity Falls," "Star Wars Rebels" and "Lab Rats: Bionic Island."
These three series account for the Top 13 regular series telecasts in the network's over 15 year history in Total Viewers, the Top 12 regular series telecasts in Boys 6-11 and the Top 11 regular series telecasts in Boys 2-11. Programming Highlights "Gravity Falls" ranked as Disney XD's #1 series of 2015 across all target demographics, including Total Viewers (1.8 million), Kids 6-11 (654,000/2.8 rating), Boys 6-11 (445,000/3.7 rating), Kids 2-11 (790,000/2.0 rating) and Boys 2-11 (522,000/2.6 rating). "Gravity Falls" ranked as the year's #3 animated cable TV series in Boys 9-14 (494,000/4.0 rating - and #4 overall - and placed among the Top 10 cable TV series in Boys 6-14 (#7 - 680,000/3.7 rating) and Boys 6-11 (#8 - 445,000/3.7 rating). "Gravity Falls" accounts for Disney XD's Top 8 regular animated-series telecasts of all time in Kids 6-11 and the Top 6 in Boys 6-11. "Star Wars Rebels" was the network's #2 series of the year in Total Viewers (1.1 million) and Boys 2-11 (318,000/1.6 rating) and its #2 animated series in Boys 6-11 (242,000/2.3 rating). "Lab Rats: Bionic Island" ranked as the network's #1 live-action series of the year in Total Viewers (846,000), Kids 6-11 (406,000/1.7 rating), Boys 6-11 (274,000/2.3 rating), Kids 2-11 (465,000/1.2 rating) and Boys 2-11 (302,000/1.5 rating). "Lab Rats: Bionic Island" accounts for the network's Top 4 live action series telecasts on record in Total Viewers and Boys 6-11.
