Dermot Mulroney Joins HBO's 'Enlightened'

Deadline.com reported that Dermot Mulroney has been offered a recurring role on the second season of HBO's 'Enlightened.'

Mulroney will play Jeff Flender, "an investigative reporter Amy enlists to help her bring down Abaddonn, who eventually becomes her love interest."

'Enlightened' is a comedy that "stars Laura Dern as Amy, a self-destructive woman who has a spiritual awakening and decides to live an enlightened life, which creates havoc at home and work."

Dermot Mulroney has been seen Off-Broadway in The Sad Lament of Pecos Bill on the Eve Killing His Wife Killer's Head/Action. He has appeared in over 70 films including 'My Best Friends Wedding,' 'Georgia Rule,' 'About Schmidt,' and 'Zodiac.'
