"Fiona Wallice" (Lisa Kudrow), television's worst online therapist, will add a second 'Friend' to her client roster as David Schwimmer guest stars on the SHOWTIME comedy series WEB THERAPY tonight, August 20th at 11:00 PM ET/PT.

Schwimmer will appear in four episodes as "Newell Miller," the son of Fiona's college professor with whom she had a "romantic" encounter in order to raise her grade. Unbeknownst to either of them, Newell witnessed the whole thing and has been traumatized ever since. Divorced three times (all to Fiona doppelgängers) and hoping to move on with his life, Newell heeds the advice of his new therapist by making contact with Fiona to confront his demons and the person behind them.

Longtime Friends star Schwimmer will appear in the upcoming Off-Broadway production of Detroit at Playwrights Horizons, which begins previews on August 24, 2012. The actor made his UK stage debut in Some Girl(s) in 2005, and first appeared on Broadway in 2006's The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial. Scwhimmer has also directed the film Run Fatboy Run and the Off-Broadway show Fault Lines.

Aside from playing Ross in Friends, Schwimmer has appeared on TV in The Wonder Years, NYPD Blue and Monty, as well as the films The Pallbearer, Kissing a Fool, Six Days Seven Nights, Apt Pupil, Picking Up the Pieces, Band of Brothers, Big Nothing and more.
