DWTS's Melissa Rycroft Taken to Hospital For Head Injury

People.com reports that DANCING WITH THE STARS: ALL STARS contestant Melissa Rycroft was taken to the hospital on Sunday to be checked out after taking a fall during rehearsal. According to the report, the star suffered a head and neck injury while working on the group dance, doing camera blocking for tonight's performance.

Rycroft's rep told People, "Melissa was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where she is currently being examined." The dancer was accompanied by her husband,Tye Strickland, and her dance partner, Tony Dovolani.

Dovolani tweeted on Sunday: "Really concerned about @MelissaRycroft..... we don't know if we are dancing tomorrow !!!!! Please keep us in your prayers #trouper"

Contestant Emmit Smith tweeted: "I really hope Melissa Rycroft is ok. She was taken to the hospital with a head/neck injury. Saying a prayer for her tonight."

According to E! News, Rycroft was released by Sunday evening.

The 29-year-old Rycroft was set to dance the tango for her "guilty pleasure" dance in tonight's competition. She and Dovolani were also scheduled to perform a team dance number. Rycroft is a special contributor for ABC's 'Good Morning America.' She also appeared on the ABC dating show 'The Bachelor.'
