DWTS Contestant & Paris Train Hero Alek Skarlatos Heading to Big Screen

TMZ reports that the Paris train hero Alek Skarlatos has signed on to play himself in a short cameo on the big screen.

The DANCING WITH THE STARS semi-finalist will appear opposite porn legend Ron Jeremy in RANGE 15, described as a "military comedy." William Shatner and Danny Trejo also star.

Sources tell the site that producers approached Skarlatos just after he and his fellow militiary buddies bravely thwarted an attempted terrorist attack on a Parisian train. Although Skarlatos was not aware of Jeremy's previous career in the porn industry upon signing onto the project, the subject of the film will not be in that genre.

"Range 15" is scheduled to hit movie theaters in July of 2016.
