DANCING WITH THE STARS' Ryan Lochte Engaged to Model Girlfriend

Olympic gold-medal swimmer and DANCING WITH THE STARS contestant Ryan Lochte took to Instagram to reveal that he is got engaged to his girlfriend of less than a year, Kayla Rae Reid, over the weekend. Check out the happy couple at left.

Lochte caused a controversy following his medal-winning participation in the Rio Olympics, lying about being robbed at gunpoint. The athlete went on to be a contestant on the 23rd season of ABC's DANCING WITH THE STARS, where he is paired with pro dancer Cheryl Burke.

During the first week of the dance show's competition, two audience members stormed the stage in protest of Lochte's actions in Rio. The chaos was captured on live television. After security guards for the show tackled the intruders, the men were removed from the premises and later charged for their actions.
