Over the last twenty-five years, Cirque du Soleil has captured the imaginations of millions with their original mixture of circus arts, live music, theater, choreography, imaginative costumes, technical innovations and an artistic vision that continues to amaze.

Mesmerizing performances from all seven Cirque du Soleil Las Vegas permanent shows are captured in a two-hour PBS television special, CIRQUE DU SOLEIL: FLOWERS IN THE DESERT, an extraordinary entertainment experience that is part of special programming premiering on PBS stations beginning November 27 and airing through December 2010 (check local listings).

Since 1993, Cirque du Soleil has produced seven original, permanent shows in Las Vegas, creating a garden of delights that has transformed entertainment in this desert oasis. CIRQUE DU SOLEIL - FLOWERS IN THE DESERT presents mesmerizing performances recorded at six of the seven Cirque shows in Las Vegas. These shows - Mystère, O, Kà, Love, Criss Angel Believe and Viva Elvis - have never been broadcast on television or presented on DVD in the United States.

CIRQUE DU SOLEIL - FLOWERS IN THE DESERT is part of special programming airing in November-December 2010 (check local listings) on PBS stations.
