According to a story in The Latino Review, Warner Bros. may be resurrecting it's JUSTICE LEAGUE project which was recently put on hold. El Mayimbe of the Latino Review reports that Christopher Nolan's new role at the studio will be to oversee all developments of their superhero properties and will serve as the producer of Justice League.

In an interview with Empire Magazine last May, Bale confirmed that he would be willing to reprise his role of Batman in the film if Christopher Nolan came to him with a good story. He would also join Henry Cavill's Superman possibly as a "retired" Bruce Wayne who is persuaded by Superman to join his "team".

The JUSTICE LEAGUE movie hit a bit of a set back in recent weeks when Ridley Scott turned down the opportunity to helm the ensemble film. As a result, production on the picture was pushed back as late as 2016.

Several names had been rumored to be interested in directing the project including David Yates, Ben Affleck and Zack Snyder; however all have evidently passed on the chance.

JUSTICE LEAGUE will feature a team of DC Comics superheroes including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and Aquaman. The studio hopes to match the success of this year's blockbuster hit 'The Avengers', also based on comic book heroes. Will Beall is writing the script.
