Channel 4 Acquires CHARMED, HAPPY TOGETHER, THE GOOD FIGHT From CBS

Channel 4 and CBS Studios International have today announced an exclusive agreement for titles from CBS' new autumn slate, along with extending the rights to further seasons of the CBS All Access drama The Good Fight, and a roster of contemporary and classic television series.

The brand new, much-anticipated reimagining of the fantasy drama Charmed, showcasing the power of sisterhood and promising to be as fierce and funny as the original, will air on E4.

Happy Together, starring Damon Wayans Jr and executive produced by Harry Styles, is a new comedy about a 30-something happily married couple who begin to reconnect with their younger, cooler selves when a young pop star moves in with them. Ben Winston and HARRY Styles will executive produce the series which is very loosely inspired by the time when HARRY lived in Ben's attic during the height of One Direction's success; (however that's where the reality ends. The show is not based on real life experiences or characters). The series will also air on E4.

The deal also extends Channel 4's rights to future seasons of The Good Fight on More4. The first series was the second best series on More4 in 2017, while the second series is currently the channel's best series so far this year.

In addition, the new agreement will bring to the Channel 4 portfolio some of television's most iconic series from CBS' extensive library, including; Cheers, which will play on Channel 4; Sabrina the Teenage Witch, which will air on 4Music; 90210, which will be available exclusively on All 4; and Rules Of Engagement, coming to E4.
