Though NBC is in The Middle of a late-night switch-up, Carson Daly isn't going anywhere.

The network has officially picked up LAST CALL, the interview-style talker, for a 13th season at its 1:35-2:05 a.m. ET timeslot.

"We are thrilled to continue our relationship with Carson who has broken the mold, creating his own unique late-night show format with 'Last Call,' said Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Late Night Programming, NBC, said in a statement. "The show has become a platform for emerging artists - and Carson's engaging interview style has made it the place for insightful conversations with an eclectic group of new stars as well as established icons and news makers."

"I'm extremely proud of what we've accomplished with 'Last Call,'" said Daly, who has been at the helm of the show since it launched in 2002. "I love coming to work every day and having the opportunity to collaborate with this incredible team. We are always looking to give viewers something new and fresh that they can't find anywhere else on television. I'm grateful to have the chance to continue doing what I love the most."

Yesterday, reports arose that the network was exploring the idea of bringing Alec Baldwin in for its late-night lineup, potentially booting Daly.

NBC also recently announced that Jay Leno would be stepping down from THE TONIGHT SHOW, with Jimmy Fallon replacing him. LATE NIGHT, Fallon's current gig, will soon be in need of a new host when he departs - rumors point to SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE's Seth Meyers as his successor.

Each night, "Last Call" hits the streets, taking the entire show on location, and bringing viewers along for the ride. Host Carson Daly introduces his audience to the emerging artists and stories you simply won't find anywhere else.

In recent years, "Last Call" has garnered acclaim for its gritty documentary style, emphasis on great storytelling, and status as late night TV's unofficial music tastemaker. Highlights from last season include conversations with Joe Gordon-Levitt and director Danny Boyle, Spotlights on "Glee" music man, Adam Anders and the creators of Yo Gabba Gabba!, and performances from breakout band Florence and the Machine and the TV debut of rapper Yelawolf.

"Last Call with Carson Daly" is produced by Universal Television. Stewart Bailey and Guy Oseary are the executive producers.
