CMT has announced that American Idol judge Steven Tyler will team up with country superstar Carrie Underwood for a live version of their hit show CROSSROADS. The special episode will air live at 11:00 pm/ET from Indianapolis on Saturday, February 4th, the day before the Super Bowl.

The network's announcement reads "Rock legend Steven Tyler and country music superstar Carrie Underwood combine their talents for a spectacular night of music. Tune in as the Aerosmith lead singer and the American Idol champ take on one another's fan-favorite hits during their high energy, not-to-be missed performance. This live version of CMT Crossroads takes place in Indianapolis prior to Super Bowl XLVI."

CMT CROSSROADS shows the far-reaching roots of country music by pairing country artists with musicians from other genres. Each episode features a different set of stars playing together, swapping stories and sharing their common love of music.
