Deadline.com has been the first to report that actress Carrie Fisher is to appear in a guest role on 'Entourage,' HBO's comedy series.  Fisher's character, Anna Fowler, is a reporter who works for Deadline Hollywood.  She may reappear on the show.

'Entourage,' which has run on HBO since 2004, follows the adventures of actor Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) and his friends as they attempt to navigate the world of Hollywood.  Based loosely on the experiences of co-executive producer Mark Walhberg, the show features many celebrity guest stars and has received critical and popular acclaim.

Carrie Fisher recently appeared on Broadway in her autobiographical show Wishful Drinking, based on her autobiography of the same name.  Fisher's most notable credits include the original Star Wars movies, in which she played Princess Leia.  Her other film credits include 'Hannah and Her Sisters' and 'When Harry Met Sally...'  Fisher has also appeared on Broadway in AGNES OF GOD.  She has also written several novels.
