Camelot Entertainment Group, Inc. (OTC: CMGR) ("Camelot") announced today that Camelot Distribution Group ("CDG") has acquired worldwide media rights for Sparke Films' THE 34th BATTALION. Budgeted at approximately $25 million dollars, the World War 1 epic is expected to begin principal photography this winter once major casting is completed. THE 34th BATTALION is scheduled to be part of CDG's release slate in 2103.

"We are excited to be working with Ian and Luke Sparke and their talented team at Sparke Films on what promises to be an epic war film," CDG President Jess Kelly stated." THE 34th BATTALION has all the ingredients that make a successful movie including a great cast and crew, an incredible story and a terrific script that will have world-wide appeal."

Produced by Sparke Films, THE 34th BATTALION will be Luke Sparke's directorial feature debut after working on war and history films for the past 11 years including "The Pacific" and on other major productions including "X-Men Origins." Written by father/son team Luke and Ian Sparke THE 34th BATTALION tells the story of four friends, who, after two years of leaving their families to immerse themselves in the unruly hardships of war, struggle with the horror that grows inside of them as they must overcome weakness and find strength in their loved ones in order to strike one last time against the German Army.

"I'm absolutely thrilled to be working with Camelot in bringing this amazing story to the world," stated Luke Sparke. "My aim with THE 34th BATTALION is to raise the bar on first World War films, and I am proud to have a fantastic Australian crew from 'The Pacific', 'X-men', 'The Great Raid' and other local war based productions. Closing in on the 100th anniversary, we are very aware of the responsibility in telling this story as accurate as we can without pulling any punches: It's going to be big, loud and a rollercoaster ride of emotions."

"THE 34th BATTALION has been written and conceived as a tribute to the generation of the Great War," added Ian Sparke. "It has been written as an international action film set in a historic setting. I thank Camelot for their dedication and foresight."

Cast to be announced soon.
