360 Sound and Vision, an independent distribution company located in Tribeca, NY announces its latest feature film release, Cybornetics: Urban Cyborg.

The film is an innovative, independent, science fiction film that is a throwback of conventional big budget sci-fi films of the late 70's through the early 90's, such as Blade Runner, Aliens, and Star Wars. Cybornetics: Urban Cyborg will be released on September 17, 2013 in theaters and on dvd.

The movie is a futuristic science fiction feature film about a group of scientists, working for the government, who are in a competitive race to develop a Cyborg, a biologically modified hybrid human, which possesses the latest in advanced bionic limb and sensory technology. Charles Benjamin is a small time hustler who wants to change his life. Having agreed to do one last job, Charles arrives in New Mexico for a pick-up of a large drug shipment and is mysteriously set-up, robbed, beaten and left for dead on a deserted stretch of desert highway.

A short while later, the scientists find his body and transform him into the Cyborg, A.R.C. 1. The Cyborg escapes the laboratory and speedily returns to the only place he can remember, but only to truly discover the state he was in and what he had become. While the Scientists are on his tail to re-capture him, he also discovers the whereabouts of the people who initially robbed and killed him, and his heart is now set to destroy the people who destroyed him, and to stop the advancement of this scientific being that he had been transformed into.
