CBS's LATE SHOW Posts Across-the-Board Growth vs Same Week in 2015

THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT posted across-the-board growth compared to the same week a year ago, delivering the show's largest audience and best demographics since October, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Dec. 9.

THE LATE SHOW averaged 2.84m viewers, up +20% from 2.37m in the same week last year. In key demographics, THE LATE SHOW was up +14% in adults 25-54 (0.8/04 from 0.7/03) and +20% in adults 18-49 (0.6/03 from 0.5/03) compared to in the same week last year. LATE SHOW posted it largest weekly audience and best delivery in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since the week ending Oct. 21.

THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN averaged 1.37m viewers, up +17% in viewers (from 1.17m) from the same week last year. THE LATE LATE SHOW was even in adults 25-54 (0.4/03) and adults 18-49 (0.3/02) from last year.

Stephen Colbert brings his signature satire and comedy to THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT where he talks with an eclectic mix of guests about what is new and relevant in the worlds of politics, entertainment, business, music, technology and more. Featuring bandleader Jon Batiste with his band Stay Human, the show is broadcast from the historic and newly renovated Ed Sullivan Theater. Stephen Colbert took over as host, executive producer and writer of THE LATE SHOW on Sept. 8, 2015.
