CBS News' FACE THE NATION is the #1 Sunday morning public affairs program. Season-to-date, FACE THE NATION is first in viewers (+9%, 3.77m from 3.46m) and is delivering a 0.8/04 in adults 25-54 (tied for second), according to Nielsen most current ratings.

The April 24 broadcast was first in viewers (3.37m) and delivered a 0.7/04 in adults 25-54 (tied for second), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings. Editor's Note: FACE THE NATION's second half-hour was broadcast contiguously across 78.31% of the CBS affiliates.

On the broadcast, John Dickerson interviewed Republican presidential candidate John Kasich and Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. CBS News Elections Director Anthony Salvanto discussed primaries in the Northeast and revealed CBS Battleground Tracker poll numbers from Indiana and Pennsylvania. This week's political panel included Reihan Salam, executive editor of The National Review; Ed O'Keefe of The Washington Post; CBS News Congressional Correspondent Nancy Cordes; and Ezra Klein, founder of vox.com. Mark Landler of The New York Times discussed his new book "Alter Egos," and the broadcast also paid tribute to Prince.
