At 10:00 PM, 48 Hours was first in adults 25-54 (1.5/04), the demographic most important to those who advertise in news, as well as viewers (5.48m), adults 18-49 (0.9/03) and households (3.8/07)

Saturday's broadcast featured Erin Moriarty and the 48 Hours team's report on the investigation into what authorities say was the oldest cold case ever to be prosecuted in United States. The case involved the murder of 7-year-old Maria Ridulph in 1957, which went unsolved for 55 years until police, working from a tip gained through a deathbed confession from the mother of the alleged killer, were led to Jack McCullough.

48 HOURS: COLD AS ICE is produced by Greg Fisher, Judy Rybak and Peter Henderson. Claire Anderson and Emily Wichick are the associate producers. David Franklin is the producer-editor. Maria Barrow and Richard Barber are the editors. Al Briganti is the executive editor. Susan Zirinsky is the senior executive producer.
