48 HOURS' two-hour edition "Stalked" finished as Saturday night's #1 and #2 programs with viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Feb. 25.
At 9:00 PM, 48 HOURS (S) delivered 4.76 million viewers and a 1.0/03 with adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. The audience grew at 10:00 PM, 48 HOURS' regular time period, where it delivered 4.94 million viewers and a 1.2/04 with adults 25-54. Compared to the previous week, 48 HOURS at 10:00 PM added +790,000 viewers (+18% from 4.15m) and was up +33% in adults 25-54 (from 0.9/03). 48 HOURS posted its best adults 25-54 delivery since Dec. 10, 2016 and its best audience delivery since Jan. 28.

The 10:00 PM hour of 48 HOURS was the #1 program of the night, followed by the 9:00 PM hour.

Saturday's broadcast featured Erin Moriarty and 48 HOURS' investigation of multiple terrifying cases of stalking, including the death of singer Christina Grimmie, who was murdered by a stalker she didn't know she had, and the efforts driven by Pauley Perrette, star of CBS' NCIS, to change laws that she said are outdated or ineffective.

48 HOURS: "Stalked" exposed the extreme, often debilitating emotional toll being stalked has on Perrette and others, including a lawyer, a single mother and an internet celebrity. In interviews with Moriarty, victims explained vividly what it feels like to be targeted and how being stalked made their lives feel smaller. Moriarty also interviewed Justin Massler, a serial stalker with diagnosed mental illness, who was arrested in 2010 for stalking President Donald Trump's daughter, Ivanka.

48 HOURS: "Stalked" is produced by Ruth Chenetz and Sarah Prior. Liza Finley and Greg Fisher are the senior coordinating producers. Doreen Schechter and Joan Adelman are the producer-editors. Greg McLaughlin, Diana Modica, Phil Tangel, Richard Barber and Atticus Brady are the editors. Nancy Kramer is the executive story editor. Peter Schweitzer is the senior producer. Susan Zirinsky is the senior executive producer.
