48 HOURS delivered 5.1 million viewers and a 1.3/04 in adults 25-54, the demographic desired most by those who advertise in news, on April 11. Compared to last week, 48 HOURS was up +30% in adults 25-54 (from 1.0/03) and added +900,000 viewers (from 4.24m, +21%). Saturday's broadcast featured Erin Moriarty and 48 HOURS' investigation into the death of Ashley Fallis, a married mother of three who was found with a gunshot wound to her head in the Colorado home she shared with her husband, Tom Fallis. Tom maintained Ashley committed suicide with a gun she kept beneath the mattress. Police and Ashley's family believed Tom killed his wife in a fit of rage following a New Year's Eve party. The Weld County Coroner ruled Ashley's manner of death as suicide within days, and the Evans Police Department soon closed its investigation.Videos
