CBS THIS MORNING's Norah O'Donnell to Sit Down with VP Candidate Tim Kaine

CBS THIS MORNING Co-Host Norah O'Donnell will interview Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Sen. Tim Kaine, Thursday, August 4. A preview will be broadcast tonight on the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY (6:30-7:00 PM, ET/PT) and the extended version of the interview will be broadcast Friday, August 5 on CBS THIS MORNING.
The interview will be conducted in Virginia, where O'Donnell is expected to talk with Kaine about Hillary Clinton's campaign for president, current issues impacting the country, their Republican rivals and more. CBS THIS MORNING launched Jan. 9, 2012, and has become the Network's most successful morning newscast in nearly three decades. The broadcast has posted year-over-year audience increases for 45 consecutive months.
