CBS THIS MORNING Posts Largest Year-to-Year Total Viewer Gains Among Network Morning News

CBS THIS MORNING continues its ratings surge, posting the largest year-to-year viewer gains (+18%, 3.80m from 3.22m) among the network morning news broadcasts, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending March 11.

CBS THIS MORNING is also the only network morning news broadcast to grow in women 25-54 (+11%, 1.0/07 from 0.9/07) and in women 18-49 (+14%, 0.8/06 from 0.7/06) compared to last year. CBS THIS MORNING maintained its rating in adults 25-54 (0.9/07) compared to last year. ABC is down -3% in viewers, -6% in adults 25-54, -10% in women 25-54 and -7% in women 18-49 compared to last year. NBC is down -5% in women 25-54 compared to the same week last year.

CBS THIS MORNING has grown its audience for 41 consecutive months while ABC has declined 22 consecutive months and NBC has declined 21 consecutive months in year-over-year comparisons. ABC has not experienced year-over-year monthly gains since April 2014, and NBC has not posted gains since May 2014.
