CBS SUNDAY MORNING is #1 Sunday Morning News Show in Key Demo
CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH Charles Osgood was the #1 Sunday morning news program in adults 25-54, the demographic most important to those who advertise in news, as well as viewers and households, during the February sweep, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the period.
In the February 2013 sweep, CBS SUNDAY MORNING averaged a 4.1/11 with 5.93m viewers and a 1.6/08 in adults 25-54. CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted its best February sweep delivery in households since 1996, in viewers since 1994 and adults 25-54 since 2010. Compared to last February, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +8% in viewers (from 5.51m), up +7% in adults 25-54 (from 1.5/07), and up +5% in households (from 3.9/10).
CBS SUNDAY MORNING closed out the February sweep by finishing #1 in viewers, adults 25-54 and households, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Feb. 24, 2013. CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 4.1/11 with 5.88m viewers and a 1.6/08 in adults 25-54. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +23% in adults 25-54 (from 1.3/06), up +10% in viewers (from 5.33m) and up +8% in households (from 3.8/10).
Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +7% in both adults 25-54 (1.5/07 from 1.4/07) and viewers (5.69m from 5.34m) and up +8% in households (4.0/11 from 3.7/10), compared to last year.
