CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH JANE PAULEY was the #1 Sunday morning news program and posted double-digit, year-to-year percentage gains in viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Oct. 9.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING delivered 5.66 million viewers and a 1.2/07 with adults 25-54, the demographic desired most by those who advertised in news. Compared to the same week last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +12% in viewers (from 5.04m) and up +33% in adults 25-54 (from a 0.9/05).

Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is the #1 Sunday morning news program, delivering 5.85 million viewers (up +13% from 5.19m) and a 1.2/07 with adults 25-54 (up +20% from 1.0/06).

Sunday's broadcast marked the debut of Pauley as anchor and her interview with Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Also featured on CBS SUNDAY MORNING were Major Garrett's report on the presidential debate; Mark Strassmann's story on Hurricane Matthew; Susan Spencer's look at the role of placebos in medical research and testing; Mo Rocca's interview with superstar singer Celine Dion; Lee Cowan's chat with actor Nick Nolte; Seth Doane's report on the ancient art of Bonsai; Conor Knighton's latest stop on his year-long trek to the nation's National Parks; and Steve Hartman's story about a young horn player being tutored by an expert.
