CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD remained the #1 Sunday morning news program with adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news, and viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for April 26.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING delivered 5.91 million viewers and a 1.3/08 with adults 25-54. CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +3% in viewers (from 5.72 million) when compared to the same week a year ago.

Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is delivering 6.09 million viewers, up +1% (from 6.01 million) compared to last year.

Sunday's broadcast was anchored by Lee Cowan, who also profiled Helen Hunt, and featured reports from David Pogue on hacking; Martha Teichner on the art of paperweights; Barry Petersen's piece on a group of people who were brought to America as orphans and are returning to Vietnam for the first time in 40 years; Tracy Smith's interview with Janis Heaphy Durham, who says seeing unusual signs from her late husband years after his death changed her thoughts about the afterlife; Scott Simon's chat with cowboy cook Kent Rollins; an Steve Hartman's look at a criminal and a cop who become friends after many years.
CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
