CBS News broadcasts delivered significant adult 25-54 audiences, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news.

Overall, CBS News broadcasts were watched by 15.5 million adults between the ages of 25-54, according to Nielsen most current ratings for the week ending April 19.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD and FACE THE NATION WITH BOB SCHIEFFER and 60 MINUTES earned time period wins with adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for April 19. Additionally, CBS News' Sunday morning news broadcasts finished #1 with viewers.

CBS News also saw strong adult 25-54 performances from CBS THIS MORNING, CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY, 48 HOURS and the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY.

CBS News' broadcasts featured original reporting from Scott Pelley on the use of nerve gas on civilians in Syria; Bob Schieffer's sitdown with Republican Presidential candidate Marco Rubio; Mo Rocca's look at the impact of admitting to being an atheist; Erin Moriarty's look at the unusual poisoning of a California woman; and Norah O'Donnell's profile of Elizabeth Holmes, the world's youngest self-made billionaire.

60 MINUTES was #1 at 7:00 PM with adults 25-54 (tied with ABC), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for April 19. The broadcast delivered 10 million viewers to make the Nielsen Top 10 list for the eighth time in 10 weeks.

FACE THE NATION WITH BOB SCHIEFFER was the #1 Sunday public affairs program with adults 25-54 and viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for April 19. Editor's Note: FACE THE NATION's second half-hour was broadcast contiguously across 76.3% of the CBS affiliates.

The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY was the only network evening news broadcast to maintain its year-to-year delivery of adults 25-54, the demographic desired most by those who advertise in news, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for April 17. The broadcast added +480,000 viewers over the same week a year earlier.

CBS THIS MORNING was the only network morning news broadcast to post year-to-year gains in adults 25-54 and women 18-49, according to according to Nielsen live plus same-day ratings.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD remained the #1 Sunday morning news program with adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for April 19. The broadcast was #1 with viewers and adults 25-54.

48 HOURS: "To Catch a Genius" was the #1 program at 10:00 PM with adults 25-54, and viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for April 18. 48 HOURS was Saturday night's most-watched program.

CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY was up +20% season-to-date in adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for April 18.
