CBS First in Viewers for Eighth Time in Nine Weeks

CBS was first in viewers for the eighth time in the last nine weeks with seven of the top 10 programs including all three editions of BIG BROTHER, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Aug. 17.

#7 - Under the Dome (6.90m)

#8 - BIG BROTHER-SUN (6.81m)

#9 - BIG BROTHER-WED (6.65m)

#10 - BIG BROTHER-THU (6.44m)

#11 - UNFORGETTABLE (6.28m)

#13 - Blue BLOODS-R (6.15m)

#14 - NCIS: LOS ANGELES-R (6.11m)

#15 - MOM-THURSDAY-R (5.85m)

#17 - Extant (5.68m)

In adults 18-49, all three BIG BROTHER broadcasts placed in the top three for the second straight week, with BIG BROTHER THURSDAY and BIG BROTHER SUNDAY tied as the week's top broadcasts and BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY tied for third. The Big Bang Theory (R) and Under the Dome also placed in the top 10. The Big Bang Theory (R) as the week's top scripted broadcast/comedy and Under the Dome as the week's top scripted drama broadcast.

BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was first in viewers (6.65m), adults 25-54 (2.5/08), adults 18-49 (2.1/08) and adults 18-34 (1.4/07).
BIG BROTHER THURSDAY was first in viewers (6.44m), adults 25-54 (2.6/07), adults 18-49 (2.2/08) and adults 18-34 (1.6/07). Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER was up +5% in adults 18-49 (from 2.1/07), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 2.5/07), +7% in adults 18-34 (from 1.5/06) and added +350,000 viewers (from 6.06m, +5%).
BIG BROTHER 16 SUNDAY was first in viewers (6.81m), adults 25-54 (2.6/08) and adults 18-49 (2.2/07). BIG BROTHER posted this season's best deliveries (on any night) in viewers. Compared to last week's golf-delayed broadcast, BIG BROTHER was up +4% in adults 25-54 (from 2.5/07), +10% in adults 18-49 (from 2.0/06) and added +880,000 viewers (from 5.93m, +15%).

UNDER THE DOME

UNDER THE DOME was first in viewers (6.90m), adults 25-54 (2.1/06) and adults 18-49 (1.5/05), adding +70,000 viewers (from 6.83m, +1%) from last week.

EXTANT

EXTANT was first in viewers (5.68m), adults 25-54 (1.5/04) and adults 18-49 (1.0/03). Compared to last week, Extant was up +7% in adults 25-54 (from 1.4/04) and even in adults 18-49.
