The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH Scott Pelley posted year-to-year ratings gains among households (4.9/09 from 4.5/08, +9%) and viewers (7.20m from 6.83m, +5%) for the week ending Feb. 15, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings. The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH Scott Pelley added +372,000 viewers compared to the same week last year.
In adults 25-54, just 0.2 rating points separated the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH Scott Pelley from first place NBC. This is the closest CBS has been to first place in this key demographic since the week ending October 12, 2012.
