CBS EVENING NEWS Posts Year-to-Year Increases in Viewers

The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY posted year-to-year increases in viewers (+8%, 6.82m from 6.32m) and households (+2%, 4.5/09 from 4.4/08), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Oct. 25.
The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY gained +500,000 viewers compared to the same week last year. The CBS broadcast also posted its best delivery in households and viewers since the week ending April 19, 2013. Season-to-date, the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY posted gains among viewers (+7%, 6.45m from 6.05m) and households (+2%, 4.3/09 from 4.2/08) compared to last year.
