Taylor Frey ("Gossip Girl," G.B.F.) has joined the cast of SUMMERTIME as one of the four leads in the ensemble coming-of-age/road film set in Rome, San Francisco, New Orleans and Cuba telling the story of four youths in the unique summer period before college.

Directed by Gabriele Muccino (THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS, SEVEN POUNDS), the film also stars emerging Italian actors, Matilda Lutz and Brando Pacitto as well as Joseph Haro ("Glee," "Welcome to the Family").

The four fill the roles of the two Italian teenagers and a young, American gay couple (Frey and Haro), who wind up in San Francisco together and take the summer to search for their identities and crack the shell into adolescent life. This summer trip helps to define their different cultural explorations and prompt various emotional relationships.

Frey is also known for his Broadway credits which include, "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" and "Finian's Rainbow." Currently, Frey can be seen in RADIO CITY's SPRING SPECTACULAR as "Jack" where he has replaced the injured Derek Hough. He is repped by Untitled Entertainment and APA.
