On Sunday night, pop princess Britney Spears confirmed reports that her former boyfriend, David Lucado, had been unfaithful to her during the couple's relationship.

Before a crowd of thousands, Spears took a moment out of her popular 'Piece Of Me' show in Las Vegas to confirm the cheating rumors to her fans. Her comments marked the first time the singer directly addressed the recent reports of infidelity.

Shared Spears during her stage show at at Planet Hollywood's Axis Theater, "... the best thing about your boyfriend cheating on you is that you get to go on a first date!" The moment was captured on video and shared on the Instagram post below:

Spears began her two-year residency show 'Britney: Piece of Me' at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on December 27, 2013. "I'm really stoked about it." said the singer at the time. "I've toured the world so many times and had been in different hotels every night. It's going to be nice just to have one place to be at for my children and my family. A tour based in one place just seems ideal." 'Britney: Piece of Me' will include a total of 100 shows, 50 in 2014 and 50 in 2015

The singer has had recent guest appearances on CBS's HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER and the FOX dramedy Glee, which devoted an entire episode to her. Spears recently released her eighth studio album titled Britney Jean.
